A reported fight sent two men in West Valley City to the hospital, one with a gunshot wound.

The men, ages 29 and 30, were arguing at an apartment near 4000 S. Redwood Road. The fight turned physical, and about 4:30 p.m., one of them shot the other in the leg, according to a West Valley City police news release.

Police arrived at the apartment and took the shooting suspect into custody.

The victim was taken to the hospital for the gunshot wound, which was not life-threatening, according to the release. The suspect was also taken to the hospital for injuries he sustained from the fight, the release adds.

Police are still investigating the incident, including the cause of the fight, according to the release.
