I'm sure you might say about the following that it is old and stale, but sometimes the old and stale might make more sense than ever before.

So what is it? It's the "golden rule" (Matthew 7:12 and Luke 6:31), the precept to treat others as you would want others to treat you. It is really simple but seldom used. If our countries, states, cities, schools, organizations, etc., would only apply this old goldie, what a better world we would truly live in. By adhering to the golden rule, you could do away with hundreds of other laws, rules and regulations. Why not give it a try?
