Legislative auditors hammered Utah Transit Authority after a year-long study, concluding the mass transit agency cut deals with developers, has incurred massive debt and overpays its executives. UTA rejected the findings, arguing the agency is recognized as a national transit leader and that its pay scale is less than similarly-sized agencies.
On Wednesday at 12:15 p.m., UTA board chair Rep. Greg Hughes and Sen. John Valentine join Jennifer Napier-Pearce to talk about the audit's conclusions and how UTA can regain the public trust.
