Tom Wharton is right. "Sardine" Canyon is one of the best places in Utah to see fall colors. But Highway 89-91 doesn't run through Sardine Canyon as is often portrayed. It actually goes up Box Elder Canyon from Brigham City to Spring Canyon above Mantua, over Sardine Summit then down Wellsville Canyon to Cache Valley. Sardine Canyon is a side canyon with a dirt road running off to the east near Dry Lake.

Other places in Utah that do not exist include Foothill Boulevard on Salt Lake's east bench and Promontory Point as the locale of the driving of the Golden Spike.
