Utah received the 31st-most points in the AP Top 25 Poll and the 38th-most in the Amway Coaches Poll, despite a convincing 26-10 win in Ann Arbor on ABC.

Of course, the days when polls matter for Utah are over. If they can keep winning throughout the Pac-12 slate, which opens at home Saturday against Washington State, the pollsters and playoff committee will take note.

San Jose Mercury News columnist Jon Wilner rates the Utes highest at No. 16. Out of 60 AP voters, eight placed the Utes somewhere among their top 25, with two others (Doug Doughty and Doug Lesmerises) ranking them as high as 19th.
