West Valley City • The Anaheim Ducks assigned three players to their ECHL affiliate in Utah on Thursday, including goaltenders Ryan Faragher and Etienne Marcoux and defensemen Kevin Lind.

Faragher and Marcoux both attended NHL training camp in Anaheim in September. They will begin their pro careers with the Grizzlies.

Faragher, 24, went 53-34-8 with a 2.58 goals-against-average during three years of college hockey at St. Cloud (Minn.) State.

Marcoux, 21, has spent the last three seasons playing major junior hockey in Quebec. He went 26-15-7 last season with Blainville-Boisbriand.

Lind, 22, comes to Utah after four years at Notre Dame. He appeared in one game for the Ducks' AHL affiliate in Norfolk at the end of last season.

The Grizzlies open the regular season on Oct. 17 at against the Idaho Steelheads at the Maverik Center.
