A man whose body was found Saturday in the Colorado River in Grand County has been identified.

The Grand County Sheriff's Office said Monday the man was Zachary Velasquez, 24, of Fruita, Colo.

The cause of death is under investigation.

The body — located near Fish Ford, which is north of Moab — was sent to the Utah Medical Examiner's Office in Salt Lake City.
