The ninth World Congress of Families ended its global gathering in Salt Lake City on Friday night with a concert by Utah-based entertainers known as "The Piano Guys."

That concluded four days of speeches, training and networking among some 3,000 participants from more than 50 countries — all of whom came with concerns about what they perceive as the decline of the "natural family," meaning a man, a woman and their children.

Meeting at the Grand America Hotel, it was at times more like a tent revival for conservatives, many of whom are determined to overturn the U.S. Supreme Court's support of same-sex marriage.

The 10th World Congress of Families is tentatively scheduled for May 16-18, 2016, in the Georgian capital of Tbilisi.
