Take Care Utah, the state's officially licensed nonprofit navigator network, hosting its third annual Family Festival and Health Event to coincide with open enrollment on healthcare.gov, which goes till Jan. 31. The free event attracted families with games, snacks, face-painting, balloon animals and a screening of "Inside Out" to entertain the kids while parents learned about health insurance and how to sign up.

Utahns can find free assistance from Take Care Utah's more than 100-plus enrollment experts located across the state. To find the nearest enrollment assistant, go to http://www.takecareutah.org and enter a ZIP code, or call 211, the free information line operated by the United Way of Salt Lake.
