The Wyoming Highway Patrol has identified a Utah man as one of two victims in a fatal head-on crash involving semi-trailer rigs near Casper.

Killed in the 6:30 a.m. Wednesday collision on Highway 220, about 40 miles southwest of Casper, was 23-year-old Brody Phillips of Vernal. Also killed in the accident was Vernice Rayvon, 63, of Killeen, Texas.

Both men were pronounced dead at the scene, WHP reported.

Troopers said that Phillips was driving east when his rig crossed into the westbound lane and struck Rayvon's semi.
