Police have deemed a man's death "suspicious" after a relative found his body Wednesday inside a Millcreek home.

The man, 42, had called in sick to work Monday and did not return calls to family members in recent days, said UPD Detective Ken Hansen. A relative on Wednesday went to the man's home, near 3200 South and 900 East, and found the man's body inside, Hansen said.

The relative called police.

Officers found no sign of forced entry, and there is no obvious injury to the man's body, Hansen said. However, because of the man's relatively young age and lack of a known medical diagnosis, officers deemed his death to be suspicious.

The man lived at the home for eight or nine years, Hansen said. Officers were withholding the man's name pending family notifications.
