Members of the Trinity African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church honored their pastor, the Rev. Nurjhan Govan, on Sunday.

Govan has led the congregation for more than a dozen years, longer than any other pastor at the landmark Salt Lake City church.

After Sunday's "Pastor Appreciation" service, worshippers staged a feast at the historic sanctuary at 239 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. (600 South).
