• General Motors Co., down 50 cents to $31.25

The automaker said its sales fell in April, partly because it cut low-profit sales to rental car companies.

• Pitney Bowes Inc., down $2 to $18.93

The mailing equipment and software company's results fell short of expectations as its software unit struggled.
