Michael Scheffner
The Corner Canyon senior guard has been an integral piece in the Chargers' success this season. He's averaging a team-high 20.9 points per game, while corralling 5 rebounds and dishing out 2.7 assists. He's reached the 20-point plateau seven times this season. After Corner Canyon surprisingly lost to rival Alta, Scheffner has helped his team rebound with two straight wins against Orem and Mountain View in the ultra-competitive Region 7.
Travis Wagstaff
In the absence of Rylan Jones, a four-star guard, the 6-foot-7 Olympus senior guard elevated his game in a must-win region game against a very talented Hillcrest basketball team. He finished with a game-high 24 points, including knocking down four 3-pointers. But his performance wasn't simply defined by his scoring output. He was a lockdown defender, often guarding quicker opponents but moving his feet efficiently to keep them in front of him. He grabbed multiple offensive rebounds and dished out several assists to fulfill the role of Jones.
