American Fork senior Casey Clinger already picked up the Gatorade Utah Boys' Cross Country Runner of the Year award.

The BYU-bound runner added the national honor Thursday.

Clinger was presented with the Gatorade National Boys' Cross Country Runner of the Year award during a ceremony at his high school.

Clinger won the Class 5A state title in a course-record 14 minutes, 42.9 seconds. He went on to win the title at the Nike Cross Nationals Final for the second consecutive year. He finished that race in 15:28.4.
