Here's what's being talked about in pop culture:

• Russia will show Disney's new "Beauty and the Beast" with a restricted rating, for audience members 16 and over, because of the overhyped (and actually understated) rewrite of the LeFou character as being possibly gay. [Vulture]

• A theater chain is introducing a new concept — jungle gyms in movie theaters, for restless children during movies — in southern California, signaling a further decline for civilization. [Entertainment Weekly]

• Show-business impresario Fred Weintraub has died at the age of 88. Weintraub founded the New York club The Bitter End, where such performers as Bob Dylan, George Carlin and Joni Mitchell got their start. He also helped bankroll Woodstock, and produced Bruce Lee's star-making film "Enter the Dragon." [Los Angeles Times]
