Here's what's being talked about in pop culture:

• Mark your calendars: "Game of Thrones" will launch season 7 on July 16 — because the middle of summer is the best time to say "winter is coming." [Vulture]

• HBO has given the go-ahead to the makers of "Game Change," the TV movie about the 2008 presidential campaign and the emergence of Sarah Palin, to make a miniseries about the 2016 presidential race — because we may as well laugh about it. [Variety]

• And the winner for most diligent work-from-home dad is Robert E. Kelly, political science professor and Korea expert, who kept his composure during a BBC interview via Skype as his young children came bouncing into the room. [Entertainment Weekly]
