Utah's gymnastics team will have to make a big adjustment next season when it competes in the Pac-10 instead of competing as an independent as it does now in the MWC since the sport isn't sponsored by the league. The Utes will have more scheduling constraints than they do now, but there are some benefits too, since the Utes will compete for a league championship in the Pac-10. They are jumping on the chance to host the event too and have been selected as the host of the 2012 Pac-12 championships scheduled for March 24. Next season the Utes are hosting an NCAA regional competition.
