Classically costumed
The Utah Philharmonia presents its Halloween concert, "Haunted Orchestra: Fire and Ice." The program includes Boccherini's "La Casa del Diavolo," De Falla's "Ritual Fire Dance," Wendell's "Ride of the Headless Horseman," Prokofiev's "Battle on the Ice" from "Alexander Nevsky," Sondheim's "Ballad of Sweeney Todd" and more. The orchestra will perform in costume, under the direction of Robert Baldwin. They will be joined by the Utah Lyric Opera Ensemble and students from the U. ballet department. Audience members are encouraged to attend in costumes.
