• Three cheers to "Saturday Night Live" regular Pete Davidson, who on this weekend's show declared his sobriety after eight years. The guy's only 23, so this has been a problem since he was a teen. [The Huffington Post]

• Joni Sledge — part of the sibling singing group Sister Sledge, famous for the 1979 hit "We Are Family" — has died at the age of 60. [Vulture]
