Here's what's being talked about in pop culture today:

• "Beauty and the Beast" set a record for March, and had the seventh-biggest opening weekend ever, taking in $170 million in North America. [Box Office Mojo]

• YouTube is under fire from LGBTQ+ content makers, for blocking and filtering out those creators' works in the streaming site's "Restricted Mode." [Teen Vogue]

• Three American originals died over the weekend: Pioneering rock 'n' roll star Chuck Berry was 90; irascible New York newspaper columnist Jimmy Breslin was 88; and comic-book artist Bernie Wrightson, who co-created the classic character Swamp Thing, was 68.
