Las Vegas • Milford saddle bronc rider Cody Wright clinched his second world championship in three years Saturday night at the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo.

Wright finished second in the 10th round with a score of 87.

He edged Wade Sundell, of Boxholm, Iowa, for the NFR average title and the 2010 world championship.

Sundell managed only an 81 in the final round, dooming him to second place in the world behind Wright.
