Moab police are searching for a man they say stabbed and killed another man early Sunday morning in the parking lot of a Denny's restaurant.

William Paul Tague, 32, of Denver was pronounced dead at 4:58 a.m. after he was stabbed two hours earlier at the restaurant, according to a statement from Moab police Chief Mike Navarre. Andrew Todd Curtis, a 35-year-old Moab resident, is the primary suspect in the stabbing, which occurred at 989 N. Main St. in Moab, Navarre said. The suspect fled the scene before police arrived.

Curtis is wanted on a warrant for murder, aggravated assault and possession of a dangerous weapon by a restricted person. As of late Sunday, police believed Curtis was in the Moab area.
