An Ivins man with Alzheimer's disease who went missing Sunday has been found alive and safe in Nye County, Nevada.

Santa Clara-Ivins police confirmed Wednesday that Ted Drew Miller, 69, appeared unharmed, but was checked out at a local hospital. Police did not immediately release other details on how and exactly where it was located.

Miller had last been seen at his home in Ivins about 7:30 a.m. Sunday. He was thought to have driven himself from the scene.
