With all of the ups and downs Real Salt Lake has experienced this season, the one constant has been the smooth relationship between coaches and front office. At least, if there are problems, we don't see them. Things may be a bit rocky in the Colorado Rapids' house. The Denver Post reported that "a 'relationship issue' between manager Gary Smith and technical director Paul Bravo could see Smith pass on a new contract and depart the club: 'We need to be able to come to terms with what both of us are at the club, or we need to move on,' says Smith. 'One of us does, anyway.' "'The reality is that when people don't work together well, you tend to miss out on certain things. Things fall through cracks.'" Bravo didn't comment. Real Salt Lake and the Rapids play Friday for the Rocky Mountain Cup at 8:30 p.m. on ESPN2.
