Time is running out to view the photographs of adman-turned-photographer Kent Budge at the Kimball Art Center in Park City.

Budge's exhibit "In Plain Sight," which comes down Jan. 11, is a collection of 35 shots of mundane subject matter—a battered horse trailer or forgotten drive-in movie screen— photographed in such a way to somehow capture the eye and imagination.

"For me, photography is a dynamic process requiring a spontaneous awareness to uncover the potential beauty in life's ordinary moments, a sometimes illusive but rewarding game," Budge says.

Budge will be the featured artist at Park City's Gallery Stroll on Friday, Dec. 30, meaning you can discuss his work with him at a reception from 6-9 p.m.

Ogden native Budge graduated from Weber State University to ultimately become a creative director in advertising and design.
