A man was arrested and charged after allegedly stabbing his wife and her dog several times on Dec. 17 in Midvale.
The woman told police she woke up to her dog yelping. After the woman got out of bed, her husband entered the home and attacked her "with something sharp," charging documents state. The husband left the house, and she locked him out. He unsuccessfully attempted to kick in the door. When police arrived, the man was shouting, "I did it! I killed my [expletive] wife!" the police documents state.
When police handcuffed him, the man threatened the officers and their families, and began to fight and kick until he was placed in ankle shackles, the documents state.
