Injuries to Jamison Olave and Nat Borchers during Real Salt Lake's first playoff game with Seattle might have been the final straw during the team's emotional and physical roller coaster season."It just felt like this just isn't going to come together for us," said RSL general manager Garth Lagerwey during part one of a six-part interview session with RSL Insider Brian Dunseth at www.realsaltlake.com.In the first episode, Lagerwey looks at Real Salt Lake's positive early start to the season, the support RSL received nationally for its CONCACAF Champions League run — "April we played our Super Bowl — as well the loss for much of the season of midfielder Javier Morales."We built up to the end of April," he said. "We kind of free fell for a while, kind of stabilized around June or so — it took a while to regain our momentum. And we played well through the end of the summer. Then we didn't finish strong again, then pulled it back together for the playoffs." martyr@sltrib.comTwitter:@Rsltribune
