Paul Millsap will start at power forward for the Jazz on Friday night against Philadelphia at EnergySolutions Arena, while Derrick Favors will come off the bench.

Devin Harris, Raja Bell, Gordon Hayward and Al Jefferson will round out Utah's first five.

Jazz coach Tyrone Corbin said Favors' early foul trouble during two consecutive blowout road losses was a key factor in the decision to return Millsap to the starting lineup.

Millsap started all 76 games he played in last season for the Jazz. He said he just "rolled with" Corbin's recent lineup moves and was not affected by them.

"If he tells me to start, just get my mindset ready and prepared to start," Millsap said.

Favors was promoted Tuesday to the starting lineup for Utah's season-opener at the Los Angeles Lakers. He was often stuck on the bench during the Jazz's first two games, though, picking up a combined six fouls in 35 minutes and scoring just two points on 1-of-4 shooting against Denver on Wednesday.

Millsap, who was moved down when Favors was moved up, has been the Jazz's best player since the season started. The team's 2010-11 MVP leads Utah in average scoring (15.5) and is tied for the lead in rebounds (8.0).
