A Pleasant Grove sex offender has been sentenced to jail for trying to lure children into his home.

Darrell Jesse Little, 30, pleaded guilty in November to three third-degree felony counts of lewdness involving a child and two misdemeanor sex offenses.

He was sentenced this week in 4th District Court to 334 days in jail followed by 36 months of probation. As part of his probation, he was ordered to undergo treatment and stay away from places where children congregate.

According to a probable cause statement filed with the court, Little lured children with something he called "the fishing game." Little placed a rope from the front of his house to his garage and left a note that said pulling the string would bring a prize, officials said. According to police, the other end of the rope was attached to Little's genitals.
