Utah pianist Josh Wright to perform free concert at Gallivan this weekend

If you have some time on Saturday night, make sure you go see a free concert at the Gallivan Center (239 Main St., Salt Lake City).

Classical pianist and University of Utah-educated Josh Wright will perform at 7:30 p.m. in a new series that is a partnership between the Gallivan Center and the local Excellence in the Community foundation, which seeks to showcase local musicians in local settings. This partnership is part of an ongoing process to create a new vibrancy in downtown.

The concert series is sponsored by groups incluing the law firm Snow, Christensen & Martineau, along with Taylor Audio and Daynes Music, so that the concert will be free.
