Pulitzer prize-winning photographer and designer Tamas Revesz will give a talk on his vision and visual arts at Salt Lake Community College's Taylorsville campus Friday, Feb. 10, at 2 p.m.
The experienced artist's talk offers another learning opportunity for Utah's vibrant amateur photography scene. Between an ongoing photo exhibition "Utah Travelers" at the Utah Cultural Celebration Center in West Valley City and a recent exhibit of the photographs of award-winning photojournalist David Burnett at the Utah Museum of Fine Arts, it has been a exceptional winter for photography lovers.
Hungarian-born Revesz is known for his photojournalism, including books on Budapest, New York, and the American West. He was awarded by Pulitzer Memorial Award in 1997 for his book, "Budapest a City Before the Millenium." In addition, he won the corporate design competition for the Budapest Stock Exchange.
