Solitude Mountain Resort's credit card system was hacked into during the past couple of weeks and customers' information was stolen.
The resort said it has heard from several patrons whose information had been lifted, although Solitude officials believe the breach affected only a handful of people over perhaps a two-week period.
"We're not entirely sure how someone was able to gain access to our system," said spokesman Nick Como. "We've checked our firewalls." He added that he wasn't sure whether information was stolen from credit cards or debit cards, or both. He said the investigation is continuing.
