The Utes were off on Thursday, enjoying a mid-week bye as they prepare for "rival" Colorado Saturday at the Huntsman Center. We'll have more on that matchup later, but for now, a quick look at how things played out last night in the Pac-12.
Arizona 76, Washington State 72 • On the heels of nearly losing to Utah, the Wildcats again almost cost themselves in the title hunt against a bad team. Kyle Fogg, though, regarded a double-double, 16 points and 10 rebounds, to nip the Cougs. Washington State forward Brock Motum missed two of three free throws that could have tied the game with with 21 seconds remaining. Arizona kept pace with Cal and Washington in the standings and remains one game out of first place.
