Hall of Fame forward Karl Malone attended the Jazz's game Monday against San Antonio. He was joined by his son, Karl Malone, Jr.

Karl Malone's appearance was unannounced and was not coordinated by the Jazz.

There was no indication Malone planned to speak with Jazz CEO Greg Miller, who regularly attends games and wrote a blog post Feb. 3 attacking the former Utah great. The post followed Malone's assertion that Miller and Utah General Manager Kevin O'Connor undermined former Jazz coach Jerry Sloan, who resigned Feb. 10, 2011.

NBA Commissioner David Stern requested Feb. 6 that Malone and Miller meet to settle their differences.

Miller sat in his normal center-court seat Monday and was within clear eyesight of Malone, who sat in a first-row baseline seat directly beneath the Jazz's home basket.

Malone made a brief pregame appearance in Utah's media room. Smiling and laughing, he declined comment when approached by the press and only discussed the good health of his family.
