Al Jefferson scored 20 points and Devin Harris converted a go-ahead three-point play with 4.5 seconds left to lead the Utah Jazz to a 99-98 victory over the Miami Heat on Friday night at EnergySolutions Arena.

The First: Jazz 27, Heat 26

Gordon Hayward has four points and two assists in the opening 4:40, but Shane Battier counters with a pair of 3-pointers. The Heat take a 21-16 lead and it's still 26-24 before Enes Kanter ends the quarter with a three-point play.

The Second: Jazz 57, Heat 44

The Jazz's second unit, led by C.J. Miles, Derrick Favors and Alec Burks, begins on a 15-4 run. Miami goes almost six minutes without a field goal. Utah builds a 42-30 lead and extends it to 53-36 with 2:16 left before five quick points by LeBron James.

The Third: Jazz 78, Heat 71

The Heat convert their first four possessions into eight points and trail, 61-52. Over the next three minutes, however, Hayward scores eight points during a 13-4 run. The Jazz build a 74-56 lead with 4:10 left before Miami converts its final eight possessions.

The Fourth: Jazz 99, Heat 98

Miles' 3-pointer gives the Jazz an 85-75 lead with nine minutes left, but the Heat score six of their next nine points after offensive rebounds during a 13-3 run. Back in the game, James takes over in the final minute but the Jazz survive.
