If in case you get locked in a closet this weekend and miss all of your planned St. Patrick's Day parties, there will still be a chance later this month to celebrate.

An evening of Irish music and dance will take place at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, March 27 and 28, at the Cox Performing Arts Center, 350 South 700 East, St. George presented by Dixie State College Celebrity Concert Series."The Rhythm of the Dance" is a production that uses modern art forms of dance, music and costumed performers.The show features music and dance that goes back thousands of years, but reportedly brings it up to date as any modern-day stage show.

This two-hour dance and music extravaganza contains a wealth of Irish talent. The show is an inspiring epic, reliving the journey of the Irish Celts throughout history. This richly costumed show marries the contemporary and the ancient.Rhythm of the Dance has heralded a new era in Irish entertainment, internationally rated as one of the most popular and busiest Irish step dance shows in the world. This group aspires to a purity of content preserving the traditions of Irish step dancing and yet presenting it in the most modern format that has made it a leader in its field.
