Police are looking for suspects in a shooting at a house party in Clearfield early Saturday morning.

At about 12:30 a.m., police responded to reports of a loud party near 150 North and 1200 West where neighbors could hear fireworks or gunfire. When officers arrived, they saw teenagers and adults climbing fences of neighboring homes and leaving the area on foot and in vehicles, according to Adam Malan, Clearfield Police patrol lieutenant.

Officers talked with about 50 people inside the home. They found four people shot, three inside the home and one running from the home, Malan said.

Three were treated at the hospital and two, one who was shot in the foot and the other in the back, were released. A third was shot in the throat and is still hospitalized, but it doesn't appear the injury is life-threatening.

The fourth victim was grazed in the head and was not taken to the hospital.

The victims were all struck by small-caliber bullets, and its unclear if the victims were targeted or hit by stray bullets, he said.

The Clearfield Police Department is asking for anyone with information about the shooting, or any other victims, to contact them at 801-525-2806 or 801-525-2837.
