Wrestler Rulon Gardner climbs into the center ring of tonight's episode of Rock Center with Brian Williams (9 p.m., NBC/Ch. 5).

Here's what NBC has to say about the report:

Champion Greco-Roman wrestler Rulon Gardner won an Olympic gold medal in 2000 and the bronze four years later. But a series of setbacks followed; a near-death experience in the wilderness, a controversial walk-off from the NBC reality series "The Biggest Loser." Now, at the age of 40, he wants redemption, and one more shot at the Olympics. Harry Smith went to the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs to see if Gardner can make weight, and make the team.

The hour also includes reports on how a professor and students at the University of Alabama helped the FBI crack a hacking case; the return of "Mad Men"; and the impact of cell phones on actors, musicians and audiences.
