Authorities in two Utah County cities Thursday morning were investigating robberies at two tanning salons.
The most recent robbery occurred about 9:15 p.m. Wednesday at the Waikiki Beach, 2255 N. University Parkway, in Provo. Police said a man wearing a black ski mask and armed with a handgun walked into the business, fired his gun and demanded cash from two female employees. Officers said the man then walked out the front door.
Police said they believe the robber is Hispanic because he spoke with an accent. He was described as about 5 feet 6 inches tall with a medium build and tattoos on his arm. He was wearing a black hoodie, black pants, black shoes, and a black shirt.
