Clinton Kelly, co-host of "What Not to Wear" and "The Chew," will visit Macy's City Creek on Saturday at 1 p.m.

The fashion maven and Macy's spokesman will showcase the must-haves for spring for women of all shapes and sizes.

"I might have said 10 years ago before I did 'What Not to Wear' — 'Oh, somebody should be able to go in into Macy's and put together an outfit,' " Kelly said. "It seems really simple that you should be able to just shop and buy something that fits your body. But people don't have a plan."

Shoppers who spend $100 or more on Saturday on women's clothing or Estee Lauder products at Macy's will receive a signed copy of Kelly's most recent book, "Oh No She Didn't: The Top 100 Style Mistakes Women Make and how to Avoid Them."

To register for the event, call 800-786-2665 or go to macys.com/events.

Best known for telling women what they should and shouldn't wear on the long-running TLC series, Kelly is also the author of "Freakin' Fabulous: How to Dress, Speak, Behave Eat, Drink, Entertain, Decorate and Generally be Better than Everyone Else." And, since this past September, he's been one of the hosts of the ABC daytime show "The Chew" (weekdays at noon on ABC/Channel 4).

"Before I hosted 'What Not to Wear,' I was a journalist and I wrote about everything from food to relationships to style," Kelly said. "The interesting thing about 'The Chew' is that it is much more applicable to my actual life.

"I help people get dressed for a living. But when I'm actually living my own life, what I'm doing is cooking with my family, cooking with my husband. I am entertaining. I'm throwing dinner parties."

Kelly said his philosophy is that everyone makes a choice every day.

"You can wake up and be blah, or you can wake up and be fabulous," he said. "And what I have been able to do is to help people sort of embrace the fabulous side of themselves and realize that getting dressed every day in a way that makes you feel happy makes your life better." —
