Houston 2, Columbus 2, tie • Brian Ching scored the tying goal in the 81st minute to give the Houston Dynamo a 2-2 draw against the Columbus Crew on Saturday.
Ching took a pass from the right side by Will Bruin, who had the Dynamo's first goal in the 59th minute, and slotted the ball past goalkeeper Andy Gruenebaum.
Eddie Gaven scored twice for the Crew (2-3-1).
Los Angeles 2, Colorado 1 • Landon Donovan scored in the 39th minute and goalkeeper Josh Saunders stopped a penalty kick in added time as the Los Angeles Galaxy earned their first road win, a 2-1 victory over the Colorado Rapids on Saturday.
Saunders made a diving save on a penalty kick by Omar Cummings to preserve the win.
David Beckham played after being questionable with back spasm for Los Angeles (3-3-0).
Philadelphia 1, Chivas USA 0 • Freddy Adu scored his first goal of the season as the Philadelphia Union handed Chivas USA their fourth straight home loss, 1-0 on Saturday.
The Union struck first in the 40th minute when Philadelphia caught Chivas on a counter as Michael Farfan went around a Chivas defender firing in a cross that deflected off of defender Rauwshan McKenzie and onto the back heel of Adu for the goal.
