Hollywood Records has signed R5, it was announced today by Disney Music Group.

R5 will perform at Salt Lake City's Club Sound on May 10.

R5 is made up of Littleton, Colorado siblings Ross, Riker, Rocky and Rydel Ross and rounded out by best friend Ratliff Ellington

Disney said this about the signing in a press release: "We're thrilled about R5's potential. They can write clever songs, sing, play multiple instruments, and act."The siblings have been performing since Riker was six years-old and Rydel was one (!). After moving to Los Angeles in 2007, they've worked steadily on theatrical and commercial projects. Ross landed one of the lead roles in the Disney Channel original series "Austin & Ally" in the role of Austin. Riker has most notably had a recurring role in "Glee."R5 currently are recording their debut EP for an early 2013 release as well as a full length R5 album.
