A 32-year-old man was fatally stabbed Friday afternoon during a fight in Price.

Price police said Jordon Wilcox, 21, and the 32-year-old were arguing about 4:30 p.m. in the driveway of a home near 300 North and 100 East.

An argument between the two men escalated, police said, after the older man made aggressive moves toward Wilcox. During the struggle, Wilcox stabbed the other man in the chest with a large kitchen knife, police said.

A homeowner who saw the fight called police.

The 32-year-old was pronounced dead at Castle View Hospital, police said. Wilcox was booked into the Carbon County Jail on suspicion of first-degree murder.

Police said Wilcox was living in the home and the other man was a frequent visitor to the house. They did not know what prompted the dispute.

The stabbing victim's name was not immediately released because his family had not yet been notified.
