If you're reading this, congratulations: You're well-read.

If you're reading this in Salt Lake City, you're also typical.

Amazon.com released its second-annual list of the Most Well-Read Cities in America, and Salt Lake City scored in the top 10 — in 10th place, in fact.

Here's the top 20:

Alexandria, Va.

Cambridge, Mass.

Berkeley, Calif.

Ann Arbor, Mich.

Boulder, Colo.

Arlington, Va.

Gainesville, Fla.

Washington, D.C.

Salt Lake City

Knoxville, Tenn.

Orlando, Fla.

Columbia, S.C.

Bellevue, Wash.

St. Louis

Richmond, Va.

Rankings were determined by sales data of book, magazine and newspaper sales - in both print and Kindle format - since June 1, 2011. The numbers were weighed on a per capita basis for cities with more than 1000,000 residents.
