When Donny Osmond teams up with Jay Leno, the results are at least mildly funny - and this time, Provo is the butt of the joke.

Wednesday night on "The Tonight Show," Osmond starred in a skit parodying the "CSI" franchise, "CSI: Provo, Utah."

The skit was a series of gags based on "CSI: Miami" star David Caruso's trademark move: Putting on his sunglasses and saying a pithy one-liner, just as the show's title sequence starts (with Roger Daltrey's famous scream from The Who's "Won't Get Fooled Again").

In this parody, the gags went like this:

Other cop (to woman walking her dog): "Excuse me, miss, look after your dog's mess!"

Osmond: "Now that's (pause to put on sunglasses) a pick-up line."

(Cue: Daltrey's scream)

It's not the first time Osmond has cooperated with Leno in spoofing his squeaky-clean image. Last year, a "Tonight Show" sketch suggested Osmond as Charlie Sheen's replacement on "Two and a Half Men."
