Enjoy that late-week cooling trend, Utah? Well, lock away those breezy, balmy memories because its going to get hot.
Under sunny skies, northern Utahns looked for temperatures Sunday in the low-80s, decidedly warmer than Saturday's forecast for highs hovering around 70 degrees. Monday's thermometer readings will rise to a toasty 90-degree range, according to the National Weather Service.
And if it's warming up along the Wasatch Front, it's definitely tank tops, shorts and sandals kind of weather in southern Utah. Utah's Dixie expected highs in the mid-90s Sunday, a rise from Saturday's upper-80s. Monday will see the mercury climb into the upper-90s and low-100s all under mostly clear, sunny skies.
