Free movies in the park

A number of family-oriented movies will be shown outdoors at parks along the Wasatch Front tonight. The movie Cars will be shown at Jordan Park, 900 West 1000 South in Salt Lake City. Through mid-July, movies will be shown outdoors at various parks in the Salt Lake area. Movies begin around 9 p.m. and popcorn is free while supplies last. Cars 2 plays both in Riverton (Go HERE for more information) and in Cottonwood Heights. (Go HERE for details.)

Also on Friday, you also can see Napoleon Dynamite at Eastwood Elementary , 3305 South Wasatch in Millcreek. (Go HERE for details.)

Also on Friday, Magna kicks off its summer movie program with The Muppets. Go HERE for a list of all the movies that will be shown in that city this summer.
