As previously announced on this blog, up-and-coming country star Eric Church will perform at the Maverik Center on Nov, 17, with special guests Kip Moore and Justin Moore.

It has just been announced that tickets for Church will go on sale at 10 a.m. next Friday (June 22) at Ticketmaster.

Here is a review I gave for Church's most recent album "Chief":

PopTop: Country singer Eric Church is 'Chief' on new albumCD » Most of the world doesn't know who Eric Church is, but country fans do, and this outlaw is about to get a lot more popular. He is an observant songwriter — he co-wrote 10 of the album's 11 songs — and his rasp is warm and honest, with a wry sense of humor, like when he sings about a lost love: "She got a rock, and I'm gettin' stoned / Damn right I've got objections but it's awful too late now." Highlights include "Springsteen," which isn't so much about The Boss but idyllic memories of being 17. Grade » B
