CNN and Fox News proved once again what's wrong with 24-hour cable news.In the rush to be first, accuracy goes out the window. Both networks reported that the Supreme Court had overturned Obamacare - based on reading the first part of the decision and rushing that on the air.Problem was they were in such a hurry that they got it flat-out wrong. Reading further, they discovered that the Supreme Court had instead upheld Obamacare. And they had to go on the air and correct their erroneous reports. You can debate who the political winners and losers were on Thursday morning. You cannot, however, debate that CNN and Fox both did a major disservice to their viewers and embarrassed themselves. Both network tout their "legal experts" and their ace reporters. Perhaps they each need to hire someone who can read and has a tiny bit of patience.
